The Triad allude to the Holy Trinity and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (celebrated on FESTA DO DIVINO / Feast of the Divine). On this take, the Holy Trinity is looked from a feminine point of view, with it being the Mother, the Daughter, and the Holy Spirit. On this special edition, each triad represents one of the 7 gifts.
Trinity:
from the Latin trinidas, “triad”, from trinus “triple”;
Holy Spirit:
one God in three people. The Fourth Lateran Council declared: Father generating, the Son being born, and the holy Spirit proceeding;
The 7 gifts from the Holy Spirit:
these are associated to the hope of the coming of a new world, wiser and more just. They are: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord;
Designed in partnership with the artist Aline Victor, the SerTãoDivino Collection was created for the exhibition MOLDAR MUDAR – A VIDA MOLDADA NO BARRO DA ALMA (To mold and change – the life molded on the clay of the soul), which took place in A Casa Museum, in August 2017.

where to find
The body of the dolls is made from Brazilian demolition wood, turned manually; The clay flowers are produced by craftswomen from Vale do Jequitinhonha using the traditional ceramic techniques of this region. The process is entirely handmade, from the extraction of the clay on the ground, its grinding, molding to the coating and firing in the stove. The inks are produced by the artisans themselves, with earth and natural pigments, as well as the stoves where they heat the pieces.
